Behavioral, Mental Health, and Well-being Community of Practice
The purpose of this Community of Practice is to support and educate Chaplains who provide spiritual care to patients struggling with behavioral and mental illness and to staff impacted by work stress. This group organizes chaplain-led educational and training activities designed to increase chaplain competencies and skills when working with and to decrease the marginalization of patients suffering from mental health challenges. They also engage in and provide leadership for system-wide programs, such as the Mental Health Ambassador program, designed to support staff well-being.
