The purpose of this Community of Practice is to support and engage Chaplains and others engaged in spiritual care service for seniors and elder patients, their families, and other professional caregiving staff. This group organizes chaplain-led educational and training activities designed to increase chaplain competencies and skills when working with seniors and senior living communities. They also engage in and provide leadership for system-wide programs, such as the Age-Friendly Health System initiative.
